Arnold will NOT be back for T6? Arnold Schwarzenegger reconsiders returning to Politics in 2018.

Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly considering reentering the political arena by running for a U.S. Senate seat in 2018.

According to the American Politics news and opinion website Politico.com, Arnold Schwarzenegger might enter the 2018 Senate race, and run as an independent to replace Senator Dianne Feinstein (who will be turning 85 years old and likely be looking to retire and not seek reelection.)

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s spokesperson Daniel Ketchell was asked about Arnold’s possible Senate run, and he did not rule it out:

“Right now Gov. Schwarzenegger’s focus is on using his platform to bring some sensibility and coherency to Washington by fighting for redistricting reform, like we did in California. We are keeping all of our options open as far as how we can accomplish that.”

If Arnold Schwarzenegger does decide to run for office, having a staring role in “Terminator 6” is probably off the table and not likely to happen.  However, Arnold still appearing as a computer generated character remains a possibility.

We’ll be back.

  1. I adore Mr. Schwarzenegger as a movie star, but Arnold was an utter disaster as the Governor of the State of California. Please forget running for the Senate, Arnold. Stick to movies!
