In promotion of Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D debuting in theaters around the world this August 25th, the creator of the Terminator franchise, James Cameron, did a Facebook Live Q&A session today where Cameron got to answer questions asked by Terminator fans across the world. One of these questions dealt with the new upcoming Terminator Trilogy Cameron is developing with Skydance and inquired if Cameron ever considered Arnold Schwarzenegger playing a human.

Now, it’s “I’m back!” After a long running partnership between Skydance and Paramount Pictures was seemingly coming to a close this year (freeing up Skydance to shop movie projects to any studio in the world), Skydance decided to sign a new deal with… you guessed it.. Paramount Pictures! And they are bringing James Cameron’s new Terminator trilogy with them.
Hot off the heels of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s reveal to the world that Terminator 6 will start shooting “in the beginning of next year“, in another interview, Arnold has just revealed the precise month they will begin filming T6!

When “News Corp Australia Network” (NCAN) sat down recently with Terminator creator James Cameron, the visionary director revealed not only that he wanted “Terminator 6” to be the start of a new trilogy, but hinted on what fans might expect in his new series of films. And what we can expect is a transition from the old Terminator films, to a brand new storyline.
Well now it’s getting exciting Terminator fans! The “News Corp Australia Network” (NCAN) had an opportunity to sit down with the creator of the Terminator franchise himself, James Cameron, and during that conversation Cameron revealed that he not only wants to make “Terminator 6”, but a seventh and eighth Terminator film as well! Yes, James Cameron wants to make a new trilogy… but he has to clear some copyright hurdles first.
Now that Paramount Pictures has officially declined their option to continue with the “Terminator Genisys” trilogy, and Skydance looks onward to produce a new Terminator film with creator James Cameron in the mix, a great deal of Terminator fans are left wondering what happened to the Guardian, Sarah and Kyle in the Genisys timeline? So it is time to let Skydance know, that fans would like to find out.
The story broke this past Saturday reported by the New York Daily News, that executives at Paramount Pictures have decided not to pick up their option to bring the sixth Terminator film to cinemas across the world.
