While the Chinese people were very unfortunate back in 1991 to miss out on a theatrical release of the blockbuster film ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, the tide has certainly turned for them now. Not only will Terminator fans in China get to see the new 3D conversion of T2 first (as well as premiere with star Arnold Schwarzenegger and a massive T2 mobile MMORPG game), but fans were treated to a T2 25th Anniversary exhibition this year too!
The “Terminator 2” 25 Anniversary Exhibition has been traveling on a Chinese ten city tour, reportedly ending in the city of Guangzhou. With a gigantic total area of 1,500 square meters of exhibition space, the exhibition was designed to submerse fans in the Terminator 2 world made famous 25 years ago, even featuring a Terminator cosplay parade!

As Terminator hype has cooled in countries like the United States, it’s obvious to see that Terminator fandom in China has never been hotter!
