James Cameron and Skydance are reportedly in TERMINATOR copyright negotiations.

Back in February of 2016, we were contacted by someone who asked to remain anonymous and claimed they were related to a key member involved in “Terminator 6” discussions. This insider claimed to have news to share about James Cameron rentering the creative fold with Skydance to work on a new Terminator film.  Then, as T6 news broke almost a year later, it turned out our contact indeed was correct in regards to Cameron’s return. But that wasn’t the only thing this scooper was correct about.

“TERMINATOR 6” may finally give fans the Future War movie they have always wanted!

When the news first broke in January of 2018 that a new Skydance Terminator film was under development with James Cameron “godfathering” the production and “Deadpool” director Tim Miller in negotiations to direct, we were able to hypothesize what type of Terminator movie it would be based on clues the source provided.

Paramount Pictures will not be involved with “TERMINATOR 6”!

Hasta La Vista Paramount Pictures!  On March 4th, we reported HERE that a source informed us that in 2017, the long running partnership between Skydance and Paramount Pictures was coming to a close, freeing up Skydance to shop movie projects to any studio in the world.  We were also informed that James Cameron wanted to bring “TERMINATOR 6” to the movie studio he developed a 30 plus year relationship with, none other than 20th Century Fox!  Well now it appears once again, a scoop we received about T6 is revealing itself to be true.

AVATAR 2 delayed again! Good news for “TERMINATOR 6”?

When the creator of Terminator franchise James Cameron last spoke about a release date for his anticipated sequel to his 2009 blockbuster hit “Avatar”, Cameron announced it would hit theaters in December of 2018. Film enthusiasts around the world, hungry for a new James Cameron directed film, were enthusiastic over the news, but now things have changed.

“For Bill, it was game over.” James Cameron writes one more time about the late Bill Paxton.

James Cameron and the late Bill Paxton were very close friends, so much so that the night before Paxton’s heart surgery (that led to the complications that took his life), Jim and Bill had a conversation and made light of the surgery Bill was about to undergo.   Unbeknownst to both of them, it would be the last time they would ever speak.  So it is no wonder, after doing it twice already, that Cameron still felt the need to eulogize his late friend one more time.

TERMINATOR 6’s Cameron & Miller tried to make a “HEAVY METAL” movie in 2008!

Back in 2008, nine years before the friendly duo started developing “Terminator 6”, “Deadpool” director Tim Miller was actively pitching film studios a new movie based on the American science fiction magazine Heavy Metal, with no one other than James Cameron to executive produce and co-direct.

James Cameron writes a new moving tribute to Bill Paxton.

Actor. Director. Artist. Collector. Friend.  Bill Paxton was a great many things to the creator of the Terminator franchise, James Cameron. So it’s no wonder that Cameron’s original statement made on the day of his passing (reported here) was not nearly enough to process his grief when remembering his dear, late friend Bill. James Cameron helped friend and likely T6 director, Tim Miller, get “DEADPOOL” made at Fox.

After our previous report this past Wednesday uncovering that likely “TERMINATOR 6” director Tim Miller was not only a contemporary inspiration of James Cameron, but an actual friend, we decided to dig deeper into that friendship to see what we could find. And what we found is James Cameron was instrumental in getting Miller’s “Deadpool” film made.
