Will the picture quality be bad for “TERMINATOR 2” in 4K?

Well this doesn’t look promising. The high performance video and audio publication Home Cinema Choice received an advanced review copy of the 4K remastered home video release of “Terminator 2 Judgment Day” and the reviewer found the picture quality to be problematic, to say the least. After the unrelenting delays of both the single disc and endo arm releases, how much disappointment can fans take with this release?

Terminator producer Andrew Vajna lured “TERMINATOR 6” to Hungary!

If you are a Terminator fan you have likely heard the name Andrew Vajna before. Vajna was one of two film investors along with Mario Kassar who founded the company Carolco Pictures. Carolco was the film company that ultimately acquired the rights to the Terminator franchise from the Hemdale Film Corporation back in 1990 (after Vajna left), and went on to make the blockbuster film “Terminator 2: Judgment Day“.  Later that decade Carolco went bankrupt, but out of the ashes Andy Vajna and Mario Kassar obtained the Terminator rights again and formed a new company called C2 Pictures in 2002.  They produced the sequel “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” a year later.  Vajna was also credited as an executive producer for both “Terminator Salvation” and the short-lived television series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”  Throughout his life, Vajna has had his influential hands all over Terminator… and now he’s back!

The remastered “TERMINATOR 2” Endo Arm Set is delayed until March 2018!

Well, the hits just keep on coming.  Last week we reported that the 3D/4K Blu-ray release of the remastered “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, originally slated for the first week of October, was postponed until December (reported HERE).  Well now we have received word that the T2 Endo Arm Special Edition release won’t be coming out now until March of 2018. That’s right, a whole six months later than its initial announced release date.

Pre-Order cancellations rise as the T2 in 3D/4K Blu-Ray is delayed yet again?

Hot on the heels of the T2 Endo Arm Special Edition Blu-Ray set being postponed indefinitely (reported HERE), the single disc release of the “Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D/4K” has been delayed yet again!  This time, the release date has been benched until December!

“T2029” the Proposed “TERMINATOR 2” Board Game has been Cancelled.

With sadness we must report that the gaming company Rule & Make has pulled the plug on their Kickstarter project T2029 an official “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” board game. While support was robust in the beginning, it seems the gaming company felt they were not going to achieve 100% funding in the allotted time to get this exciting Terminator tabletop game made.

TERMINATOR INTERVIEW: Game designer Ian O’Toole talks “T2029” the official T2 Board Game!

A couple of weeks ago, the gaming company Rule & Make launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund T2029, an official “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” board game! Already an accomplished board game publisher with eight successful tabletop game Kickstarter campaigns, Rule & Make hopes to make their new T2 official board game number nine in their streak of success! With 65% of their project already funded, T2029’s game and graphic design guru Ian O’Toole was nice enough to sit down with us and answer a few of our questions. Here is how it went:

Robert Patrick would love to “do anything” in TERMINATOR 6!

As the T-1000 in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, actor Robert Patrick perfectly brought to life what is considered to be one of the most iconic villians in motion picture history. Twenty-six years later, not only would the seasoned actor like to return to the Terminator franchise and appear in the recently announced Terminator 6, Robert Patrick enthusiastically seems willing to play any role they have to offer… maybe even a cameo!

DELAYED AGAIN! The T2 in 3D Endo Arm Set is postponed once more!

First, it was announced in July that the Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D Endo Arm Special Edition blu-ray set would make its way to the homes of fans the first week of October!  Then in August, we reported that the entire T2 in 3D title was delayed almost an entire month later (not just the Endo Arm set) with a new target release date of October 30th to November 7th (depending on where you live.) Well now, yet again, there is another delay!

T2029: Questions are answered about the official T2 Board Game!

A week ago the gaming company Rule & Make launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund T2029, an official “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” board game. Now, a week later and more than 66% funded, the game’s creator Allen Chang distributed via e-mail a list of frequently asked questions that potential backers have been asking about this new proposed T2 game. It is their hope, in clarification of these questions, that the rest of the fans of the Terminator franchise will back their game and complete its funding!
