As you saw on our social media pages yesterday, the T-1000 actor Robert Patrick was out and about on Tuesday doing a London promotional press junket, in advance of the upcoming 3D theatrical re-release of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. But what really caught our ear yesterday, is when Robert discussed the idea of reprising his deadly liquid metal role in a new Terminator film!
A couple of weeks ago, we were contacted by one of our Army of Terminator fans asking if we preferred NECA’s new Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D T-800 Galleria figure with the pink painted lips or skin-tone color lips? We honestly had no idea what they were talking about, and upon learning more, this fan basically found a packaged T-800 figure with different color lips. We assumed what this person found was just a painting anomaly, (an error that can happen once in a while among mass produced figures), and never gave it another thought.
Ten days ago we reported HERE that Pure Arts had announced they will be releasing a full scale T-800 Endoskull Mask in the near future. Hidden in shadow in its first promotional picture, we actually brightened up the image to reveal a better look at the mask. But now Pure Arts has shared with Skynet’s Army a new, official “work-in-progress” first look at their upcoming full scale T2 endo mask, and it looks glorious!
Most fans are aware of the amazing Terminator themed attraction titled T2 3-D: Battle Across Time. Originally developed for the theme park ‘Universal Studios Florida’ in 1996, this ride where live performers interacted with 3D film was produced like a sequel to the blockbuster film “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, reuniting director James Cameron with actors Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong, and Robert Patrick.
Since the day publicity stills for “Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D” began circulating the internet months ago, we have received e-mails from fans making comparisons between screenshots of the 1991 film to the new 2017 stills circulated by Studiocanal. We want to warn you that doing so would be a big mistake.

Back in February, during a live Question & Answer session with James Cameron at the Berlin Film Festival after the world premiere of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D”, James Cameron revealed that the only scene that would be digitally altered was a fixing of a falling windshield from the T-1000’s truck (as it crashed into the drainage canal). But now after the release of the film’s theatrical trailer on display to the world, Cameron’s declaration no longer seems to be factual.
