Could the upcoming “TERMINATOR 6” be entirely computer animated? 

This past March, when Skydance chief David Ellison revealed that a major announcement about the Terminator franchise was coming in 2017, fans were elated.  At that point, “Terminator 6” news had already broke that James Cameron would be involved (which Cameron confirmed), and we later learned that Arnold Schwarzenegger expected to be involved as well.  Actually, the only thing remaining to be confirmed (other than the nature of the movie itelf and the distributor) is the announcement that Tim Miller will be directing “Terminator 6”.

What ever happened to the “TERMINATOR 3000” animated 3D film?

Back in August of 2010, Hannover House (an entertainment distribution division of Target Development Group, Inc.) announced a development deal with Vancouver-based Red Bear Entertainment to make TERMINATOR 3000, a $70-million dollar budgeted, 3D animated feature film based on the characters from the original 1984 classic “The Terminator”.  Apparently the T-800, Sarah and Kyle would all be back… animated style!

It’s not often that we get to speak with a Terminator.  However, actress Kristanna Loken (who played the T-X in “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”) is so much more than the iconic, red leather, liquid metal coated killing machine that fans fell in love with back in 2003.  Not only a movie star, not only a television star, Kristanna Loken is a successful producer and business executive, who added maybe the greatest accomplishment of all less than a year ago when she became a mother.

The “Avatar” marathon has begun.  The creator of the Terminator franchise James Cameron has just announced that he has begun production on the four anticipated sequels to the most successful film of all time: “Avatar”.

TERMINATOR REVIEW: Taking a retro look at the two part comic series “TERMINATOR 3: BEFORE THE RISE”.

Back in 2003, a month before the anticipated theatrical release of the film “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”, comics publisher Beckett Comics released a limited comic series titled Terminator 3: Before The Rise.  A story that spanned over two issues, this comic series was written by Ivan Brandon and featured art by Goran Parlov, which was announced as the official prequel story that took place before the events of T3.  While how much these comics truly served as a prequel can be debated, this two issue run did indeed give fans a truly exceptional Terminator story!  (For those who haven’t read it, we’ll try to keep the spoilers to a mininum.)

It certainly is a saddening statistic when we consider a great portion of Terminator fans have never viewed James Cameron’s original science fiction classic in a movie theater, the way it was intended to be seen. So anytime we hear of a chance to experience 1984’s “The Terminator’ on the big screen from beginning to end, we want to let you know about it!

Russia says their new military robot that fires guns and makes decisions is not a TERMINATOR.

The fictional Terminator franchise seemingly inched one step closer to becoming a reality recently when the Russian press revealed behind-the-scenes footage of their new military robot that can shoot guns and make decisions. They also insist it’s not a “Terminator”.

New “TERMINATOR GENISYS: FUTURE WAR” Mobile Game is set directly after the events of the film!

Last summer we reported here about the exciting news that game publisher Plarium was teaming up with Skydance Media to make a new mobile massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the “Terminator Genisys” film!  Well it’s no longer a MMORPG game, but Plarium has officially released “Terminator Genisys: Future War”, a free-to-play mobile strategy game that, like a sequel, takes place after the events of “Terminator Genisys”!

The majority of Great Britian fear the “Rise of the Machines” will happen.

In the years to come, some fans have wondered; Will James Cameron be remembered as a prolific writer and director of movies dealing with science fiction, or will he be remembered as a “Nostradamus” of the technological world, correctly predicting a future clash between artificial intelligent machines and humanity?  Well after the results to a recent poll was announced, it appears the majority of Great Britain feel it will be the latter.
